Bonus Terms Explained — No Jargon
Casino bonuses can be confusing. Here's a plain-English guide to the terms you'll see
at jl57 and every other online casino in the Philippines.
1. Wagering Requirement / Rollover
The number of times you must bet your bonus amount before you can withdraw any winnings from it.
A X10 wagering requirement means if you got a ₱500 bonus, you need to place a total of ₱5,000
in bets before cashing out. X15 means ₱7,500 in bets; X20 means ₱10,000 — the higher the number,
the harder it is to clear.
Example: You claim a ₱1,000 welcome bonus with X12 rollover. You must wager
₱12,000 in eligible bets before any bonus-derived winnings become withdrawable.
2. Maximum Bet During Bonus
While you have an active bonus, most platforms cap your bet per round — typically at ₱250–₱500
per spin or hand. Betting above this limit voids the bonus and any winnings from it.
This rule exists to prevent bonus abuse, but it catches players who don't read the fine print.
Example: Bonus T&C says max bet ₱300 per spin. You place a ₱1,000 spin
on slots — the casino can confiscate your bonus balance and winnings.
3. Game Contribution Rate
Not every game counts equally toward your wagering requirement. Slots usually contribute 100%
— meaning ₱1,000 bet on slots = ₱1,000 toward your rollover. Table games like baccarat,
blackjack, or roulette typically contribute only 10–20%. Sabong and sports may contribute
50–100% depending on the platform's rules.
Example: You bet ₱1,000 on baccarat (20% contribution) = only ₱200 counts
toward your ₱12,000 rollover target. Slots would give you full ₱1,000 credit.
4. Bonus Expiry Window
Bonuses don't last forever. Most expire within 7, 14, or 30 days of being credited.
If you don't complete the wagering requirement within that window, the bonus and any
winnings from it are automatically removed from your account.
Example: Bonus credited on January 1 with a 14-day expiry. You must clear
rollover before January 15, or the remaining bonus balance is forfeited.
5. Sticky vs Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky (or non-cashable) bonus cannot itself be withdrawn — only the winnings generated
from it can. A non-sticky bonus can be withdrawn once wagering is complete.
Most Philippine casino bonuses are sticky — you keep what you win, but not the bonus itself.
Example: Sticky ₱500 bonus, you wager and win ₱2,000. At cashout: the ₱500
bonus is removed, but your ₱2,000 in winnings (minus original deposit) is yours.
6. Maximum Cash-Out
Some bonuses cap how much you can actually withdraw that was derived from bonus funds —
often 3x–5x the bonus amount. Even if you run your ₱500 bonus up to ₱10,000,
you might only be able to withdraw ₱2,500 (5x cap).
Example: ₱500 bonus with 5x max cash-out = ₱2,500 maximum withdrawable
from bonus winnings, regardless of actual balance.
Practical tip: Always read the Terms & Conditions
before claiming any bonus. Check the wagering requirement, game contribution, max bet,
expiry window, and max cash-out limits. The best bonus is one you can realistically clear
with your normal play style.
